Susan Johnson, LMI

Susan Johnson is a Research Fellow for Financial Management Systems and Policy at LMI. As such, she specializes in improving financial management systems and processes for public sector and non-profit organizations.

Ms. Johnson came to LMI from Fannie Mae, where she was a manager in the data warehouse group. Before that, she worked at Price Waterhouse on a variety of financial systems consulting projects in the public sector. Ms. Johnson began her career at Freddie Mac, where she held positions as a business analyst, financial analyst and accountant.

Ms. Johnson holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, both from the University of Maryland. She is a Certified Government Financial Manager, Certified Management Accountant, and a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
